This deep purple-red wine gives up wonderful earth-oriented aromas of cedar, tobacco, dried cherries, and white pepper spice. It greets my tongue with a warm and silky, yet powerful burst of fruit, followed by lingering notes of spice and bittersweet cherry and currant. Leaning slightly toward the oaky side, this wine is balanced well with solid undertones of aged fruit, and would pair well with grilled fare, game meats, and other bold dishes.
Lots of powerful fruit with fun is what this wine delivers!
