Okay, so I grabbed this from the bargain bin noticing that it's from the Willamette Valley (that's Will-AM-ette to you non-Oregonians). I figured, since I'm nuts about their Pinot Noir in this region the Rosé must be worth a sip.
Color:
Nose: Fresh strawberry, hint of melon and citrus
Palate: Bright acidity up front, summer berries, a bit of steel. Tastes a little tinny right out of the bottle, but mellows out with more cherry flavors after some fresh air.
An enjoyably sweet Rosé, and not as dry as some. If your palate runs on the sweet side, you should find this most agreeable. Cheers!
