Louis M Martini Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Mmmmm.... With scents of wood with warm pepper and spice, leather and deep dark fruit, this Cabernet is rich with a soft chalky texture and a lingering finish.

Oh wait, that's just the nose.

Then there's the taste. I waited until my second glass to write about the taste. Expect a beautiful balance of berries, earth, roses, leather, and warm spices.

I would suggest food pairings, as I'm sure there are several along the lines of roasted meat and grilled steak. But I'm too busy enjoying my second glass. Cheers.
